- Verify & inspect / self test codes: P0205 (injector #5 circuit), P0300 (engine misfire). R&R bank 1 CAC pipe & injector cover, visually inspect harness & connector. Found connector signs of heat / poor terminal pin fit. Matches TSB# 23-NA-027 for codes, concern & connector condition.
- Soldier & heat shrink new service connector pigtails for cyl's# 1 & 5 fuel injectors, clean & apply dielectric grease to all connectors on bank 1. Clear codes & retest / road test & monitor misfire counter, all ok. Customer returned with same concern, P0205 (injector #5) code back. Check injector resistance, within spec. Check new connector, harness etc ok. Refer to wiring schematic for any shared components on circuits, R&R right side bank injector cover & disconnect each injector while monitoring injector #5 status, injector #5 status changed to ok when injector #2 disconnected. Found same concern on injector #2 connector. Replace faulty connector & clean / dielectric grease all connectors. Clear code & retest / road test & monitor misfire & injector status, all ok.
